Investigators discovered contamination in the Neenah Slough in Neenah, Wisconsin, in late 2008. They traced the contamination to stormwater runoff from Neenah Foundry. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources identified significant concentrations of lead, iron, zinc, and manganese. Brennan Environmental Services secured the remediation contract through its custom-built equipment and proven sediment remediation experience.
