Brennan developed iBOSS® to solve a major challenge in PAC sediment remediation. Fine powdered activated carbon can drift through the water column during placement. Our patented, proprietary binding agent minimizes drift and improves placement accuracy. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved the binding agent for use. It also helps us install carbon-amended sediment caps while minimizing environmental disturbance.
iBOSS® provides environmental engineers, remediation consultants, and project owners with a new PAC remediation approach. The system supports contaminated sediment cleanup in lakes, rivers, harbors, and other aquatic environments. It also delivers uniform PAC distribution throughout sediment caps.
